Avuxeni Computer Academy was established in 1999 and aims to provide quality, affordable and accessible training to South Africans of all ages. We have empowered countless individuals with computer skills during the past decade, thereby improving their chances to secure formal employment. Apart from our branches which are situated in metropolitan centres, we also provide extensive training in remote, developing areas by establishing temporary or “mobile” training centres at schools, community centres and the likes. Rural dwellers are thereby afforded the opportunity to acquire skills which give them a competitive edge in an environment frought by challenges in the form of poverty, skills shortages and unemployment.

The first branch was opened at Giyani. From its humble beginnings the company has grown to the largest privately-owned training institution in the country with almost 60 branches spread throughout Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape and Free State, with expansion to Gauteng Province underway.

Students who have been deemed competent are given recognition at prestigious graduation ceremonies, with special awards to students who excelled, often under adverse circumstances.
